The MGI team was instrumental in microgrid research that was sponsored by the Israeli Ministry of Energy and led by IDC's Dr. Yael Parag and Dr. Nadav Levy, together with the Israeli Smart Energy Association.

MGI successfully completed the first Israeli microgrid pilot. MGI, commissioned by the Israeli Ministry of Energy, designed, built, and operated the pilot. The pilot, set up in Ma’ale Gilboa Kibbutz, provided a unique approach to microgrid management and resulted in significant potential savings from energy optimization

MGI was appointed to lead the energy and microgrid migration for the new residential and commercial center (1,700,000 sqm buildings) in Rishon Letzion, Israel’s 4th largest city.
